Gong Yoga Nidra Sound Bath

Deep Relaxation Sound Meditation

May 23 @ 6:00 pm 7:00 pm

Group Sound Bath

In this deep relaxation sound meditation, known as shavayatra which means inner journey through the body we will experience the synergy of light and vibration of sound as we travel through the 61 points of our subtle energy body. This  “Synergy Sound ™ Shavayatra”  is a unique adaptation of the traditional yogic shavayatra or 61 point of light meditation. In this sound healing format we will be using a variety of gongs along with guided visulization of 61 points to create deeper internal states of awareness.

It is uses the simple technique of Nyasa yoga, which is simply moving awareness through out the body from one marma or energy point to another. Marma points are similar to those in acupuncture, they are places where prana or energy flows. This flow of awareness and energy allows the mind to let go and deeply relax into  a state of yogic sleep or nidra.
